Beautifully different.
Arroyo combines a passion for new design with commitment to traditional craftsmanship. Our mission is to bring you, wherever you may be, beautifully made jewellery by individual artists. My personal interest in jewellery began early but it was not until a little later in life that I trained as a jewellery maker in Jerusalem, then established my own showroom boutique in a lovely English market town in 2004. As well as wanting a place to show my own designs, I realised that it was hard, even in a major city, to find the kind of jewellery that I would want to receive and to give. And so I began to contact the first of our incredibly talented designers and makers.
From small beginnings we are now open to the world through the web. You will find an initial small selection of our extensive range of jewellery in the Gallery pages. But we will be adding more and more over the coming days and weeks, so please come back soon. My aim was always to be more than just a shop window. At Discuss you will find our forum, Arroyo Fine Thoughts, which we want to be a meeting place for everyone, whether aficianados or professionals, who loves real jewellery and craftsmanship. If you would like to learn more about jewellery, please also have a look at the carefully selected reference materials we have pulled together. Finally, you can get a glimpse of another side of Arroyo at twitter.

Although the roots of our business and life remain in the British countryside, I now split my time between Market Harborough and Paris. Paris is a place to connect with the great jewellery traditions but I am also constantly on the look out for the new and cutting edge. You will be able to read about some of my discoveries in our news pages..
Clients who come to us tend to share our passions for quality and fine design. It’s always a pleasure talking to people about what they want from an investment in one of our pieces, whether it’s a little pick-me-up or the most important item of jewellery they will ever buy. This website is intended to be simple to use as well as pleasing to the eye but please don’t hesitate to call or contact us by email if you would like to talk things through. Much of our work is created to order and changes are often possible to make your jewellery a unique work of art in precious metal.
Buying jewellery as a surprise for a loved one is not always straightforward. On the other hand, sometimes hunting together does not feel right either, with couples having conflicting ideas on how much time should be given to the process and how much pleasure can be gained from it. An answer to this dilemma is an Arroyo Gift Certificate, which allows the recipient to either buy what they would like on line or to commission a unique piece. All Arroyo Gift Certificates for over £500 are delivered with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Working with individual designers and makers, commissioning pieces to order, demanding small changes to get it right, it follows that often we are going to need some time and a series of discussions with you. You should allow four to six weeks for a bespoke commission and rather more for something elaborate and extraordinary. On the other hand, if you are buying something we have ready, we can get it to you as quickly as the post will allow. Please let us know if you are under time pressure and we will give you clear guidance on what we can and cannot do.
What happens if you order something and you do not like it? If you are ordering from our stock then you can simply return the item, notifying us in advance within seven days, for a full refund. Obviously bespoke items or made to size items have been made to order and cannot be returned in the same way. But we want you to love your jewellery from Arroyo and we will do absolutely all we can to get it right for you. You will be able to give us all the initial information we need on our “Explore Commission” form but, again, please don’t hesitate to call if that is what you would prefer. We welcome exploratory enquiries and there is no commitment to buy until you have paid a deposit and the work of crafting your unique piece begins. Please see our terms page for a fuller explanation of the ordering process.
Working with beautiful jewellery is a personal dream. Thank you for making it possible by your support and interest.
